Law Revision Orders
The following Law Revision Orders authorized the insertion and removal of pages under the Law Revision Act Cap.2 now repealed:
1985  
An Act to inter alia authorise the payment of monies out of the Consolidated Fund to certain persons whose salaries and allowances were reduced pursuant to the Public Service Reduction of Emoluments Act, 1991 (1991-13).

Short title
1.
This Act may be cited as the Public Service (Restoration of Emoluments) Act, 2000.
Interpretation
2.
In this Act
officer means a person
(a)
to whom section 3 of the Public Service Reduction of Emoluments Act applied; and
[1991-13]
(b)
who acted voluntarily under section 5(3) of that Act;
public service has the meaning assigned to it by section 2 of the Public Service Reduction of Emoluments Act;
relevant period means the period during which the Public Service Reduction of Emoluments Act was in force.
Payment from the Consolidated Fund
3.(1)
Subject to subsection (2), there shall be paid out of the Consolidated Fund an amount of money that is equivalent to the emoluments that were deducted from the salaries and allowances of officers in the public service in accordance with the Public Service Reduction of Emoluments Act, 1991.
(2)
The amount that is to be paid out of the Consolidated Fund under subsection (1) shall be paid to those officers
(a)
who are referred to in subsection (1); and
(b)
whose salaries and allowances were a charge on the Consolidated Fund during the relevant period, and may be paid over a period of 3 years commencing in the financial year 1999 to 2000 and ending no later than the end of the financial year 2001 to 2002.

Payment by bodies corporate etc.
4.(1)
The officers to whom paragraph (b) of the definition of “public service” in section 2 of the Public Service Reduction of Emoluments Act refers shall be paid the amounts equivalent to the emoluments that were deducted from the salaries and allowances of those officers pursuant to that Act.
(2)
The payment to be made to officers under subsection (1) may be made within the period of 3 years referred to in subsection (2) of section 3.
Payments subject to the provisions of Cap. 73 and Cap. 47
5.
For the avoidance of doubt and, where applicable, the provisions of the Income Tax Act and the National Insurance Act shall apply to payments made under the authority of this Act.
