The following Law Revision Orders authorized the insertion and removal of pages under the Law Revision Act Cap.2 now repealed:
1978  
An Act to authorise the Government to borrow from the Government of Canada for the purposes set out hereunder a sum of money not exceeding the amount so set out and for related matters.
[Commencement: 8th January, 1973]
Short title
1.
This Act may be cited as the Development (Canadian Loan) (Sugar Industry) Act.
Government authorised to borrow sum not exceeding $1,650,000 Canadian
2.
Notwithstanding the provisions of any other enactment, the Government is hereby authorised to borrow from the Government of Canada a sum of money not exceeding 1,650,000 dollars in the currency of Canada on such terms and conditions as may be agreed between the Government and the Government of Canada.
Appropriation
3.
The money borrowed under the authority of this Act shall be appropriated and applied to finance expenditure to be incurred in the purchase of services, materials and equipment in connection with the establishment of a cane sugar separation plant to be used for the purpose of improving the rationalisation programme of the Sugar Industry in Barbados.
Charging
4.
The payment of the principal money borrowed under the authority of this Act and of any charges or expenses connected therewith is hereby charged on the general revenues and assets of Barbados.
